Bob Cutting is General Manager of Kastle’s West region responsible for growth, leadership, operational excellence, and customer success. Bob initially joined Kastle Systems’ product management team in 2016 to lead multiple mobile platform initiatives, and eventually moved into leadership roles as VP of Operations. He is an experienced operations and product strategy leader, working the past 20 years with several computer vision and other technology companies bringing innovation to market, primarily in the security, business intelligence, IoT, and smart building spaces.
Prior to Kastle, Bob served as the vice president of product management at video analytics company ObjectVideo, playing a key role in its transition to an OEM business model and its product diversification into business intelligence solutions extending beyond security applications. He then went on to be the co-founder and COO at Prism Skylabs, a leading vision-based AI platform for large scale, global retail operations.
Previously, Bob had the role of Managing Director for the Media & Entertainment services vertical at Dimension Data, via the acquisition of Proxicom, where he established the Media & Entertainment solution vertical and guided customers such as Harvard Business School Publishing, HBO, and The New York Times on digital commerce and asset management strategy.
Bob’s professional career started as a Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy before coming up for air and discovering his future course in bringing technology innovations to market. Bob holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A from The George Washington University.
