POSITION: Security Installation Foreman
Job Description:
Supervise and assist in all phases of installing, testing, and troubleshooting security and access control systems in Washington metropolitan area office buildings.
Specific Functions:
Install, test, and troubleshoot new access control and security systems.
Verify that systems are installed in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
Verify completed work is documented accurately and consult with manager to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain company owned vehicles, tools, equipment and individual tool issue.
Maintain and protect building keys to customer buildings.
Interface with customers as necessary to install and test equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Previous Kastle field experience.
Work history must display stability and consistent attendance.
Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision.
Thorough knowledge of hand and power tools.
Strong background in AC and DC theory.
Professional construction experience and knowledge of building codes pertaining to construction, fire and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and wiring diagrams.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy five pounds..
Must be able to distinguish colors.
Ability to write and maintain accurate daily records.
Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co workers in a clear and professional manner.
Neat, professional appearance.
Willingness to accept responsibility and carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision.
Ability to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by Kastle Systems LLC.
Desire and ability to work well with others.
Self-motivation.
Excellent attention to detail.
Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends.
Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
No history of criminal convictions.
