ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

 

Job Description:

 

The Account Executive is the single point of contact for a key Kastle client.  Key Kastle clients may be defined in several ways: high revenue base, large number of properties, potential expansion, important relationship, etc.  The Account Executive is responsible for providing thorough and professional services that consistently exceed the customers' expectations. 

 

 

Specific Functions:

 

Client Contact

 

§         Serves as the single point of contact for major clients.

 

§         If applicable, may function as the coordinator for National Accounts (creating a virtual team).  Ensures timely responses to drive customer satisfaction, regardless of what Kastle department is involved. 

 

§         Develops and maintains an excellent rapport through constant communication.

 

§         Invites clients to tour Kastle’s facilities at regularly scheduled intervals.

 

§         Contacts client via telephone and by visiting their offices on a regular basis.

 

§         Solicits feedback regarding the operational effectiveness of services and the system.

 

System Design

 

 

 

 

 

Troubleshooting

 

 

 

§         Follows up on Service Work Orders to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.

§         Develops and implements permanent solutions.

 

§         Recommends corrective actions.

 

§         Provides a complete response to the client regarding problem resolution.

 

§         Generates and analyzes security reports for the client.

 

Administrative

 

§         Processes card and insert‑key orders and maintains the card/key inventory.

 

§         Maintains an accurate customer database within the various Kastle systems (CAP Editor,

     BiB, NCA, etc.).

 

§         Reviews work orders for accuracy.

 

§         Identifies and processes billable work.

 

§         Provides invoice detail to customers in response to questions.  Assists with any billing

     reconciliations.

 

§         Completes and distributes weekly reports for both internal and external customers.

 

§         Maintains spreadsheets that serve as Customer Relationship Management tools. 

 

§         Handles special projects and duties as assigned.

 

 Qualifications and Essential Skills:

 

§         BA/BS Degree required.

 

§         Two to three years experience in a position focusing on building and maintaining productive client partnerships.

 

§         Excellent writing and verbal skills.

 

§         Clear speaking voice and excellent telephone manner.

 

§         Excellent organizational skills.

 

§         Desire to provide excellent customer assistance and demonstrate initiative.

 

§         Ability to interface and communicate with clients and co‑workers in a clear and professional manner.

 

§         Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Good typing skills and capable of operating a standard computer terminal and keyboard.

 

§         Available to work long hours as needed to complete required responsibilities.

 

§         Ability to work well under pressure.

 

§         Neat, professional appearance.

 

§         Must possess a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and a car.  It will be an ongoing requirement of the position that a valid driver’s license be maintained, that their driving record satisfy Kastle standards (see handbook), and that required insurance, as determined by Kastle, be maintained at all times.

 

§         No history of criminal convictions.  Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and must be at least 18 years of age to apply. 

 

§         Must be a U.S. citizen.

 

§         Travel may be required.
