The Systems Consultant for Systems
Additions in buildings that Kastle serves is responsible for sales as follows:

Any commercial or government tenant
in a building that Kastle serves or any commercial or government tenant
moving into a building that Kastle serves. An exception to the above would
be commercial or government tenant sales initiated by the Business
Development Managers (BDM’s) as discussed below.

Upgrades to both existing Kastle
building and Kastle tenant systems.

The Systems Consultant in the
Northeast Region works together as a team in conjunction with the Customer
Service Account Managers in order to maximize sales. The Systems Consultant
concentrates on new and/or larger sales while the Customer Service Account
Managers handle smaller sales.
For information, the Business
Development Managers in the Northeast Region handle the following:

Tenant sales in non-Kastle
buildings. A non-Kastle building is defined as any building that does not
have a Kastle access control system.

Tenant sales in new buildings that
are proposed prior to or up to twelve months subsequent to building turn-on.
Building turn on is defined as the date when the building’s access control
system is activated.
- Research the market as required
to determine potential sales leads.
- Call on potential customers to
determine their security needs.
- Design systems that meet the
customers’ needs.
- Conduct tours of Kastle’s
facilities for potential customers.
- Prepare proposals (including
pricing) as required.
- Close sales.
- Keep abreast of competitor’s
activities.
- Maintain both automated and
manual filing systems.
- Work closely with assigned
Customer Service Teams and the Systems Additions Department.
- Other duties that may be
assigned.
| Qualifications and Essential Skills: |
- College degree preferred,
however, comparable professional and/or Kastle experience will be
considered. Must be capable of understanding the functions of the Kastle
System and its application in commercial and government office buildings.
- Demonstrated outstanding sales
skills to commercial clients at the executive level.
- Outstanding writing and verbal
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work
with little direct supervision.
- An understanding that work
during non-business hours is essential in order to succeed.
- Excellent personal computer
skills including a working knowledge of word processing, spread sheet,
contract management, and e-mail programs.
- Ability to work well under
pressure.
- Ability to perform a physical
survey of commercial premises such as construction sites, parking garages,
office building public spaces, tenant spaces and roofs.
- Neat, professional appearance.
- Must possess a valid driver’s
license, satisfactory driving record and a car.
- No history of criminal
convictions.
- Ability to obtain an electronic
security sales license from the Commonwealth of Virginia and any other
government agency that may require such a license.
- Must be at least 21 years of
age.
